would it be possible to implement the management of multiple states and multiple speed limits for the M106 command?
the idea would be to have

      • max print speed
      • max bridge speed

      and as state for example

      • S0 off
      • S1 on at print speed
      • S2 on at bridge speed

in this way the slicer could pass M106 S2 during the bridge and the firmware take care of the right speed based on the values set with M703

@danzaywer I would rather have the slicer tell then firmware what sort of movements are coming up, e.g. outer perimeter, other perimeter, infill, bridging. Then the firmware could select the correct fan speeds, print speeds etc. ignoring the ones passed by the slicer. This would allow me to run exactly the same GCode on all my printers, as long as they all have the same nozzle size.
