Unable to use web control after firmware update
-
Hello. I’m having trouble using Wi-Fi and connecting to my duet after going from the latest version of 2.05.1 to 3.0. The firmware upgrade went well, but after it was finished, the console on the paneldue gives a message of connected. Yet it is not connected, and I cannot find it on the network. When looking for the network info, I get a message saying another SPI transfer is pending and cannot even look at the information. I have tried fallback methods such as dropping the Wi-Fi binaries into the/SYS file, but apparently they’re not in the place they need to be. Any help would be appreciated.

Please try sending M997 S1 to reflash the wifi firmware.
-
I get an error M997: file 0:/firmware/duetWi-Fiserver.BIN not found

Which firmware files exactly did you download and try and flash? Your post mentions 3.0 but the /firmware/ folder was only introduced in 3.3
To resolve the flashing issue, please remove the SD card from the Duet and use your PC to copy the duetWi-Fiserver.BIN file from the sys folder into the firmware folder in the root of the SD card. If the firmware folder is missing in the root, please create it. Then reinsert the SD card and try M997 S1 again.

Is the firmware folder hidden?

Never mind it was that simple. It worked and I’m connected.

Great. Now that you're connected to DWC I suggest that you upload the full zip file package of the most recent firmware just to make sure everything is up to date and in the right place.
