I updated the firmware on my v1.0 Duet WiFi from 1.17 to 1.20. If I send a M552 S1 in pronterface it connects to my WiFi fine. If I disconnect the USB cable and reboot the Duet WiFi it won't connect to WiFi. I commented out the M552 S1 line while installing the firmware but it is enabled now but doesn't seem to be having an effect. Any idea on what I'm missing? Thanks in advance for the help.

Have you also upgraded to wifi server?

Are you on 1.20 or 1.21.3?

Since you were on a version prior to 1.19, please see the guide at https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Installing_and_Updating_Firmware#Section_Upgrading_a_Duet_WiFi_to_firmware_1_19_or_later_from_1_18_2_or_earlier

There were a lot of firmware related changes at that time, and any upgrade from prior to a newer firmware will require additional steps.

Thanks for the responses. I followed those guides and upgraded all the pieces appropriately prior to posting.

I rebooted a few times last night with the same results. I had a couple of bad network SSID's in due to pronterface capitalizing everything. I had the correct one as well though. I deleted the bad entries before I posted last night and then rebooted a few times with the same results.

I just booted the printer up a couple of minutes ago and it connected to WiFi on it's own. I guess it healed itself overnight, lol. Maybe my router was holding on to something that needed time to reset or something.

Anyway, it's working now, thanks again for the help.
