I hope I haven't wrecked my new Duet. I had everything up and running nicely, CNC firmware installed and machine behaving as it should do. I went to make another adjustment and Config G had vanished, being replaced with Config G.bak. I then tried to replace config g and something went wrong and I couldn't connect to WiFi so I tried to go through the initial set up routine following the tutorial and using YAT, all appeared good but I still couldn't connect to the Duet Web interface. I tried following various recovery tutorials on how to reinstall the firmware but I have got into a real mess with it now, I formatted the SD card and copied the sd image back on but I don't know if I got all the files on correctly, see screenshot. I have now been at it for 6 hours and I am totally confused. I hope I won't need to buy another board. Although I can use a computer as a tool I am woefully lacking in programming skills, once someone says create a directory in Sam-ba or Bossa or whatever I get lost pretty quickly. I don't think I have erased the board as I wasn't sure how long to leave the erase jumper on for so I left well alone. So, in conclusion, I am now up s*** Creek without a paddle.!0_1559685570213_SD screenshot.jpg

you should have one /sys folder not several /sys-CoreXY, /sys-dc42Kossel etc.

when you connect the board (by usb), what does it show up as under your device manager?

        These may help.

For the SD card, you'll need to rename one of those sys-printertype folders to just sys. Or use the web configurator to create a custom set of config files.

Then you didn't erase the firmware, it shows up as the Bossa device if it doesn't have firmware. But the links provided by Phaedrux should get you going.

Are you still able to connect to it with YAT?

YAT connects, I can set up WiFi and all is good. I then go to 'step 9' in the getting started routine and try and connect to the web interface and get access denied message.

I think you might be missing the Web Control files in the WWW folder, or have ones that are out of date. See here: https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Guide/Ender+3+Pro+and+Duet+Maestro+Guide+Part+2:+Configuration/38#s138

Thanks I will try that later. I am not using a Duet Maestro, I have Duet2 WiFi and I am using it to run a cnc router. I have access to the cnc firmware but can't get to the web interface....

@helensdad right but the step I linked to describes how to get the web control files installed in the SD card and how to connect after
