          It should still show up as an unkown device in the device manager if the drivers were missing. Is there a branch with a big yellow question mark that translates to something like unkown device?

                (Doesn't seem to be your problem, but adding the picture to illustrate the unkown devices that would indicate missing drivers for the next guy who finds the thread)

                  @Fabbrica_3d, can you confirm that you have erased the firmware by putting a jumper across the Erase pins, and you still don't get either a Bossa Port (under Ports - Com & LPT) or an Unknown Device?
