End stops config with DC IR probe

Hi all,

In the command M574 X# Y# Z# S#, do I need to omit the Z if I am using the ir probe for z homing and bed levelling or does the m558 command override whatever I put?

Also is is best to configure the sensor with the bed and nozzle heated or not?

The M574 command overrides M558 now. So use Z0 in M574 to use a Z probe for Z homing.

Assuming your want to do bed probing with the nozzle and bed at printing temperatures, then it's best to calibrate the Z probe trigger height at operating temperature too.
