This is no big deal so very low priority but I've noticed that some of my fans can become very "busy" switching on and off when the monitored temperature channel is at the switching temperature. It would be quite nice if there was a bit of hysteresis so that the temperature has to drop (say) half a degree below the set temperature before the fan switches off. Half a degree would work well for me but I guess ideally the hysteresis ought to be user configurable.

I have it on my list to allow the PWM to be varied depending on the temperature.

Thanks David. However, some fans don't work well with PWM so half a degree or so of hysteresis between fan on temperature and fan off temperature might still be useful (but only if it's not a great deal of work).

I guess I should allow you to provide min and max temperatures, and either smooth PWM between them or or on/off at them.

I'd say that would cover all eventualities for all users. As I said, it's not a huge issue - just a "would be nice to have" at some time in the future.
