position of magnetic filament sensor

Can I cut the capricorn tube and put a magnetic sensor in between. or it must be firmly attached to something or screwed onto a cart.

It's better firmly attached, however you can get away with it hanging free if there is only about 10mm or less tubing between the filament sensor outlet and the extruder inlet. If you can clamp the filament sensor inlet tube to something to stop the sensor rocking, that will help.

i was thinking to connect to add Pneumatic Connectors to frame which i will print, and add same Pneumatic Connectors to Nimble.
so it will be firmly connected to capricorn tube
