Volumetric extrusion speed dependant temperature adjustment
-
I would very much like to able to have nozzle temperature change based on volumetric extrusion speed. I understand this can't be done 'live' as the extruder temperature change lags too much but perhaps per layer given a minimum layer time or average speed over x layers?
I've been using the filaments feature more and more recently and I really like it. I think that combined with some finer temperature control would be great. Perhaps the extrusion speeds could be calculated during a simulation. Something like a set temperature for a known speed then some kind of multiplication factor for speeds above or below.

I know this is really old, but I would also like this.
I'm trying to print fast on my voron, large objects work fine, but any time there is a small section (i.e. spike at the top), the temperature is too high and I cant cool the part fast enough - even with a fairly long minimum layer time.

@noobydp @littlehobbyshop please look at the heater power feedforward feature. See https://docs.duet3d.com/User_manual/Reference/Gcodes#m309-set-or-report-heater-feedforward. It's not quite what you are looking for but it may allow you to use a lower print temperature.
