I am currently in the process of revising my custom SCARA printer with the extra time that I have during quarantine. In the config of reprapfirmware is it possible to implement a dual arm mode which would allow the arm to reach the entire possible mechanical printable area. An example of this is seen in RepRap Helios where the arm can switch arm "postures" going from a left handed to right handed distal joint. Additionally, is it possible to set a print area/moving bounds that are non-rectangular or circular; rather, they could be a custom shape such as a triangle, semicircle, donut shape, ect to allow for safe movements between positions (the best way I can explain what I mean is to allow the usable print space to be on the front, left, and right of the proximal joint, allowing for a greater movement area and print space. In order for this to happen movements from the left to right print positions would have to not interfere with the actual footprint and mechanical structure of the printer).
