No connection to DCS after firmware update
-
Hello
I use a Duet3 with a Pi4. I never worked with 3D printers before and have no background in electronics. The system was set up in March and worked well until yesterday.
So yesterday I tried to update the RRF (to Release 3.01-RC9) following the instructions on the wiki (https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Getting_Started_With_Duet_3#Section_Updating_Duet_3_main_board_firmware). After uploading the new files to the DWC and starting the installation the DWC now can't connect to the DCS.
After some troubleshooting without success I reinstalled the DuetPi but still no connection to the DCS is possible. The versions I'm using:
The error message
Connections to the pi
All the cables are still plugged in. There is no SD card in the Duet board.
I have no idea what to do now.
I hope someone can help me. Thanks in advance for your support.

To use 3.01 RC versions, you need to change the settings on the Pi to use the unstable package feed, then update Duet Software Framework to the new version. See https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Getting_Started_With_Duet_3#Section_Software_Installation.

The DWC connects now to the DCS.And I thought I had provided you with very minimal information, which probably wouldn't be sufficient!
