Duet 2 Wifi firmware upgrade issue

  • Hi, I bought a second hand printer with duet 2 wifi board on.
It was running old firmware but I have now manage to upgrade to 3.0
Board: Duet WiFi 1.02 or later
Here are the infor from diagnostic.
    Firmware: RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet 3.0 (2020-01-03b3)
    Duet WiFi Server Version: 1.23

When I'm trying to upload Duet2and3Firmware-3.1.1.zip it upload everything okay but when pressing install button it fails on
In-application programming binary "Duet2CombinedIAP.bin" not found.
Have double checked that the file are in the zipfile.
    Any idea?
    Thank you.

Check that Duet2CombinedIAP.bin is present in the /sys folder of the SD card.

  • Hi, yes the files are there and now when I powered upp the board does not connect to router anymore. I also tried to add M587 S"your-network-ssid" P"your-network-password" and M552 S1 in the config file. I guess I need to connect it with usb and start over.

  • I think I solved it by reflash it by usb and hopefully evrything looks okay for 3.1.1 now.
