When I was configuring my Modix Big60 V3 I uploaded the configuration files to the Duet with DWC but it froze halfway. Since then I closed the browser and tried to reconnect to the IP address but I believe either my raspberry Pi or Duet is half configured.

So I have erased, reset and re-flashed my duet firmware. When I start the machine up it says connected.

Also when I re-flashed my firmware the screen is yellow now..?

After it says connected it never says Wifi module connected so I don't know my IP address.

      Please help

        That left me with more questions than answers tbh;

Since then I closed the browser and tried to reconnect to the IP address but I believe either my raspberry Pi or Duet is half configured.

Whats the role of the Pi?

So I have erased, reset and re-flashed my duet firmware. When I start the machine up it says connected.

What says "connected", and how did you do the erasing, resetting and flashing, which Duet board? Whats the current version?

Also when I re-flashed my firmware the screen is yellow now..?

Is this a PanelDue screen? Which model is it, and if you upgraded the firmware for it, which file did you use?

After it says connected it never says Wifi module connected so I don't know my IP address.

M552 should get you the status of the network, and ip address if connected

Can we get some more specifics? I'm not exactly sure what you're referring to in most cases.

          What Duet board is this?
          What firmware version?
          What screen is yellow?

Thank you both for your quick responses. Modix responded to my email and we have resolved the issue.

This is what fixed the problem.

"It's possible that during the update, the firmware for the WiFi module got corrupted. I would suggest trying to reinstall that.

Using the LCD screen, go to the console tab, and type in the following gcode:
            M997 S1

That will reinstall the WiFi module firmware, and after rebooting, hopefully that will fix the issues. "

Unfortunately my screen is still yellow.. I will attach photos of what that looks like. Maybe you guys know how to fix this.

            Thank you!

            -Jeremy!

@bearer said in Duet says wifi connected but never actually does:

I'm glad part of your issue has been resolved. As for the PanelDue we need more information about the PanelDue itself and what firmware you tried installing.

                Take a look here: https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/PanelDue_Firmware_update

Find what version of PanelDue you have, find the firmware version that matches, and try reflashing. The messed up color is likely due to a firmware mismatch for your hardware. Reflashing with the right firmware should fix it.

                  https://www.modix3d.com/tech-spec/

7-inch Duet3d touchscreen – integrated with the controller

seems to suggest 7i, so should perhaps use PanelDueFirmware-5.0i-7.0i
... but if that is what caused yellowness then I guess PanelDueFirmware-v3-7.0 for a v3 is the next step.

(files will have .zip or .bin extension depending on the release version you need)
