      Hi,

I am running a Railcore II ZL with a BMG extruder and Mosquito hotend on a Duet 2 Wifi. The board is running firmware 2.05.1

I recently switched my hotend fan from the "always-on" connector to FAN1. At the same time, I changed it to activate thermostatically ( M106 P1 S255 H1 T50 C"Hotend" in my config.g ).

My problem is that when the fan comes on, it doesn't run at full rpms. I can manually move the Fans control and hear it ramp up. This led, I believe, to a failed print as I think the filament was partially melting before the hotend which gradually constricted the flow and ultimately cut off the filament altogether.

Is there something I should be doing so that the fan comes on a full "power"?

      Thanks for any assistance,

      Tim

Instead of S255 please try S1.

Post your full config.g as well if that doesn't work.
