Polar 3d Printer Calibration
-
Hi
I hope this time I can get some help in here, or at least heads up on a way forward. So I have built my Polar 3D printer as the design in the picture I used reprapfirmware with M669 K7 polar kinematics, all seems fine and working however I am facing difficulties in calibrating the axises to all work together.
for info is that could help, I used SKR1.4 with Reprapfirmware, the machine has 3 endstops X,Z and Y even I see no need at Y as it is turntable plate. My main problem when the machine start printing the model dimensions does not match the printed one.
i worked on M92 for Y i managed to get the machine turning as per the required angels like 0,90,180,270,360 but still the printed object dimensions in Y is far too large than in model.any one can that will be highly appreciated.

I actually just got my Polar running. Is your nozzle perfectly centered in the middle of your bed? I had an issue when mine was off that my models came out skewed. Also how did your figure your step per degree for the Y? It has to be correctly figured. What gear ratio are you using for Y and stepper degree?
