Show registervalues of motor drivers in object model

Hey,
I am currently trying to figure out stealth chop, stallguard and spread cycle for the tmc2209 on my mini5+
The datasheet for the 2209 recomends running the motor at the desired speed and reading the values SGTHSH or STEP or SG_RESULT or others.
I think it would be handy if those values were available via the object model or via a g code query.
Are there other ways to read/write to the stepper driver registers?
