Problems compiling Firmware

  • Hello,

First i want to thank all the people that work on the Duet elctronics ant the RepRapFirmware for making such a great product.
I'm a mechatronics student from germany and want to help by adding features and improving the firmware.

I followed the buildinstructions from the github page. The only difference is, i have a newer version of the Arduino IDE, but that shouldn't be a problem.
    I imported:
    -CoreNG
    -DuetWifiSoketServer
    -RepRapFirmware
into eclipse and changed to path of the gcc cross compiler to the correct one.
The only problem i have now is that when i want to build CoreNG it tells me sam4e.h is missing.
Did i miss any include or something?

    Thanks for any help.

You should have that file in folder CoreNG\asf\sam\utils\cmsis\sam4e\include.

  • Yes, i have the sam4e.h in my CoreNG\asf\sam\utils\cmsis\sam4e\include folder.
The directory is also listed in the includes of the CoreNG project.

Is there something else that could cause this problem?

  • I found the problem, there was a non standard ASCII character in the include path.
