      So two ways in which this is definitely saving me time, filament and potentially a broken printer:

      1. Snagged reel, you know where the filament has knotted itself after it was not properly secured when being removed. The filament monitor detects the slow feed of filament from the snagged reel and pauses the print. You can then unwind the reel a few meters, unknot the snag, wind it back on and carry on printing.

      2. if you're extruding too fast and your hotend is not keeping pace, then the filament monitor pauses the print, dial the speed back a bit and continue.
