      Hi,

I'm experimenting with different types of filament monitors and would like to use the protocol that is implemented in RRF 1.20 to communicate with my custom boards (no point in redoing that).
Could you please provide me with any information regarding signals I have to send and proper timing? Simple sketch would bo more than enough.

      Thank you in advance!

I've been wondering the same thing. Is there already a standard for output from digital encoders?

I'm certain that once the Duet filament monitor goes on sale, it will be more cost effective to buy them than to roll by own. But until then, I'm feeling the urge to tinker.

I've added a section describing the protocol at the bottom of the wiki page.
