Auto-Speed with Bed Compensation
-
Hello,
I've noticed that stuttering occurs when printing at high speeds on my (admittedy very uneven) bed. As the bed adjustment isn't particularly easy to tune (and keep tuned), it would be nice to have an option that would automatically decrease speed on moves that will cause stuttering to the maximum speed in which this will not occur.
For example if the commanded print speed is 100mm/s, and the maximum speed that stuttering will not occur is 86mm/s, then the print move speed is decreased to 86mm/s. However the auto-speed would not increase speed if say the maximum speed in which stuttering would not occur is 110mm/s.
As an example, the implementation could be
G29 S1 P1; turn on mesh bed levelling AND autospeed.

It's likely that you just need to adjust your Z jerk setting to be a bit higher.
