Missing Diap file in 3.5?
-
Hello. The docs say for Duet's magnetic encoders, I have to use firmware v 3.5:
https://docs.duet3d.com/Duet3D_hardware/Duet_3_family/Duet_3_Expansion_1HCL
RRF 3.5 also supports Duet3D magnetic shaft encoders and linear composite encodersThat version is still in beta, and does not have a Diap file. I am currently on version 3.4. Should I just keep my Diap file the same and just upgrade everything else?

@tylersuard what do you mean by "Diap file"? If you mean the IAP file, that doesn't need to change between 3.4 and 3.5.

@dc42 Ok thank you, yes I meant the IAP file, I call it the "diaper" file, because diap is somewhere in the filename

@tylersuard it's 'SDiap' in the filenames, meaning the 'iap' (In-App Programmer) file is on the 'SD' card. There are also 'CAN' iap versions in the latest releases (for mainboards running as expansion boards). But you call it what you want!
