I keep coming across duet3d.dozuki.com/wiki/... in documentation - Is there a quick substitute that i can use for duet3d.dozuki.com/wiki ?

@fcwilt Thanks, but not what i was looking for - most probably because i was not clear in my description. Let me try again. in some online documentation i come across references to an old site that is no longer supported. typically these are G- code examples mainly in the comment section eg

          https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Gcode#Section_M574_RepRapFirmware_Num_3

but if you click this it does not exist. I tried variations on this such as
          https://duet3d.com/User_manual/Reference/Gcode#Section_M574_RepRapFirmware_Num_3

but does not work. typically i do a search on the G code.

I am wondering if there a substitute for certain keywords in the original link that will take me to the correct reference?

Basically what kind of information are you seeking? How to do something? Examples of gcode?

Having a better idea of what you seek may help us help you to find it.

@Behrouz-AKT please tell us the documentation page and section in that page that has each bad link you find, then we will correct them.

@Behrouz-AKT dozuki was the old wiki software. We moved to a different wiki system last year, and the Dozuki site is now no longer available. You can access it through the Internet Archive (Wayback Machine) but realistically the information is out of date, and just about all the information (and a lot of newer info) is on the new wiki. Generally you’ll see links to the old documentation in older thread posts. If you can’t find something in the new wiki that was in the old one (there has been some reorganisation and removal of very outdated info), just ask.

If you look at the link you queried, it mentions Gcode and M574. If you go to the current documentation, just type M574 in the search bar, and it will come up with a list of pages, though usually the first option is the correct one.

You can use the internet archive to see the old page. Copy the link and paste it into the search there, choose a date before March 2022, then the time of the snapshot, and it should display the page. However, it won’t scroll to the correct part of the page.

Would it be very difficult to make a batch rename of all dozuki links in the database? I mean everytime I'm searching for something and entering a thread about it there are loads of links do dozuki which of course is broken. Most of the old comments in the Duet3D Forum refer to dozuki which is quite annoying.

I agree that this is not a great situation and a mass renaming would be good if at all feasible. I can't count the number of times I searched for some subject in the forum only to find references to dead links. It made my experience truly horrible when setting up my machine...

@meeloo it was an unfortunate breaking change when switching over from dozuki. The page names from the dozuki links are mostly still intact though, so a quick topic search on the new documentation should get you to the same place.
