Current Machine Position

Hello, I noticed this old thread and was wondering if anything has changed:

We are currently doing a long probe move where it would be very beneficial for us to query the machine position. Thank you!

@btmclain yes, in RRF 3.5 the machine position is updated every 250ms. Currently this is only the case for axes driven by motors connected to the main board.

@dc42 Thanks for this update, this is great! I'm wondering if it is in the plans to include this functionality for motors connected to expansion boards?

(I also posted this question here but thought this older topic might be a relevant place to ask, apologies for the double-post).

@blair yes this new functionality applies to axes driven by expansion motors too in RRF 3.6.
