I am having an issue with the fan pins on my duet 2 board. I am trying to connect a fan to the fan zero pin and am reading a very low voltage (0.5-1.5V). Initially, it seemed to be a board issue but I have had the issue across two different duet 2 boards. I have also attempted to manually run the fan using the terminal and tried using the always on fan pins and am unable to get the fan working. I also connected the board to a 12V supply with no change in fan readings.
I've linked the config file, the firmware version is: 3.3
      config.g

@brookeoberleemedtech I am assuming this is a 12V fan. Does the fan work when connected directly to 12V? If that works but it doesn't work when connected to an always-on fan output, this could be for one of the following reasons:

        • Fan voltage selection jumper is not in place
        • If there is a 1A blade fuse for the fans on your Duet then it may have blown, probably because at some time a fan output was shorted or a fan was connected the wrong way round.
        • If it's an old Duet without fuses, then if fan outputs are shorted this may cause the trace feeding power to the fan outputs to fail. That trace can be bypassed.

@dc42 Thank you for your help! We had to fix the jumpers and connect a power supply for the fan pins to work.
