Stupid question,

I'm on firmware 1.18.2

is upgrading just a matter of installing the new firmware or do I need to recalibrate the printer set it up on the network etc etc?

If it is a Duet WiFi then you will need to re-enter the WiFi network connection details. You may also need to make some changes to your config.g file to account for firmware changes.
