Print button on upload progress popup

  • This seems like an easy but nice improvement?

When a gcode file is manually uploaded to the duet, a progress indicator appears and at 100% there is an 'OK' button to make the indicator go away.
It would be nice if there were a second button on this requester to start printing the file - instead of clicking 'OK', finding the file in the list, right-clicking and selecting 'print' from the drop-down menu.

just an idea, thanks for reading!

    +1

  • but doesn't the upload and print button on the top bar do just that?

Aha! thank you. I'd been doing it the hard way…

  • I wouldn't mind the option of altering the button to Upload and Simulate, or Upload and Preheat.

Alternatively, could it automatically load the most recently uploaded gcode so that it's ready to go?

  • Had not noticed the 'upload and print' button, will have a look 🙂
Have also been thinking that having an 'automatic simulation' option to get the accurate time estimate by default
