BLTouch V1.21

  • Anyone else notice that after 1.21 upgrade and changing probe type to 9 that during the homez sequence the BLtouch needle drops for a second time and then quickly retracts it? It doesn't cause an issue with the detection, but I now have two printers doing the exact same thing.

In other words it follows this sequence:

    1. it deploys the probe
    2. the bed moves until the probe is detected
    3. the probe is retracted
    4. the bed drops
    5. the probe deployed and quickly retracts.

  • Hey buddy.

Mines always done this, but not all the time. On some probes it springs back up and stays there, on some occasions it pings back down again after a probe and retracts back again.

I'm using a clone BLTouch, but it's been the same for me from 1.18 firmware.

Sorry about that. Bad timing. It should work now.
