      JavaScript Error

A JavaScript error has occurred so the web interface has closed the connection to your board. It is recommended to reload the web interface now. If this happens again, please contact the author and share this error message:

      Version: 1.22
Message: TypeError: rememberedGCodes.indexOf is not a function
      URL: http://192.168.1.50/js/dwc.js
      Line: 1175:52
      Error object: {}

Connecting to web interface caused heater to turn on. Bed moved alittle and then self disconnect. I can't even enter commands to see what the problem is. After web interface discoonect, emergency stop still works. This was an upgrade to web interface and firmware.

Any Ideas what this java script error is and why heater and movement happen without user input?

I'll ask chrishamm to look into this because they sound like DWC issues to me. Meanwhile you could try installing DWC 1.21.2-dc42 to see whether the issue still occurs with that version.

I have figured out why the JavaScript error ocurrs and I will provide a fix soon. To work-around this problem for now, go to the Settings page and press "Apply Settings". After that the G-code inputs should be working again.

However I find it really strange that your heater seems to be turned on and that the bed moved. There is no code in the firmware and/or web interface that could explain this.

Can you please leave the developer tools open (press F12), switch to the Network tab, try to reload the web interface and look for rr_gcode requests?

Yes I can, I just need to walk myself through you instruction and I will try this in the morning. I can only say that I uploaded the new DWC,but board didn't install them it's. I powered down board and replaced every file in all three folder of DWC without changing the order or folder/file names. Just a select delete, select copy paste file by file replacement for all DWC content. When I connected DWC via Ip address entrance and M80 for psu the bed heater came on and y moved around 50 mm neg. Then the java error and DWC disconnected. Lucky the emergency button still worked, because I would other wise have to pull psu leads to stop heater. I will report the info you requested.

Ok machine seem to be moving correctly and heating good now after just letting it sit. As to the apply setting button I got the error

              M118 P3 S"{reloadSettings}"

Error: M118 command is not supported

And as far as leaving the developer tools open, I'm not sure what window you are referring to.

question, where can i buy a filament sensor that tracks filament run out and jams? I don't care weather it's optical laser or hall effects. I just want motion tracking style. I can't find one on filastruders site and duet 3d has documentation, but no product offering I can see. I will also need info on files. I got the money you got the Goods?
Lol! My plan is to have filament sensing and power failure protection added. I use a uninterrupted psu for the desktop and printer. So I have 30 minutes at 810 watt upon power failure. How would I configure duet to shut down in a manner that doesn't require rehoming. My machine is 200 lbs machine aluminum and steel with 4 nema 17 steppers on x and y and 2 precision geared ball screw driven z axis. Nothing moves not even .01 mm when psu shuts down and restarts. So there will be no lost position physically. Can I write g92 for last known position and continue using store height map that gcode uses to run resume.g? I really wanna get away from rehoming altogether. I home at beginning of print only. how I want to run resume.g is like this. Heat bed to 60c, heat nozzle to 170c, lift z 5mm, move x0 absolute, heat nozzle to gcode print temp, prime extrude 5mm, go to last print move pos and resume printing. If machine didn't move can these steps be written into resume.g? I want to run the same resume for both filament sense and psu failure operation. Pause.g just need to kill heaters, record position, save gcode line position and shut heaters off upon filament sense. Added atx off for power failure event. duet board has been powered on for a full year except for un-mounting sd card a few times. I never remove the 5v to board. And that 5v supply to board will be available for days even if power failure occurs. I know my methods are strange, but I continue milling on my machining center days after I have shut down. I never rehome that machine after gcode starts. Sometimes I need days to complete work on that machine and after re powering, Machine restarts and I never suffer deviation.

We don't support release candidate firmware versions once the corresponding final release has been done. Please upgrade.

That firmware was found on the duet 3d website as a link for the latest stable version. I'm not sure how I can do the right thing when I go to the source for my content and find out I'm mislead. You say please upgrade. I say to what? Your site put me on to that version. Github on the other hand is very confusing and the version codes all look similar. Exactly what firmware/DWC am I to use with Ethernet board? Could you provide a link in your response so I can be sure I have the correct content for both firmware and DWC? I would prefer not receiving the DWC version that has the issue with java script gcode errors. Thank You
