Hi everyone,
I have been having trouble with my printer randomly disconnecting from the network. I am running Firmware Version 5.3.1.
My Setup is as follows: A Duet 6HC, a Duet 3HC Expansion Board and a Raspberry Pi 4 model B as a SBC.
How the problem started: These components have been used in the exact same configuration before and were working fine. Since there was an older Firmware running on it and I needed some commands that were only available in the newer firmware versions, I decided to upgrade the Firmware of the sbc and the Duet boards. This did not work out, in the end the Firmware on the 6HC was corrupted (the status LED glowed only very dim) because of which I decided to just start over and reflash the Firmware on the SD-Card and on the Boards entirely. After flashing new firmware on the SD-card and on the 6HC, all firmware versions were on 5.3.1, including DWC. After reinstalling all the Firmware, the DWC randomly disconnects in Intervals of about 5-10 mins. By unplugging and plugging the Ethernet cable back in the raspy, I can reconnect to DWC. There are no error messages, except when the DWC disconnects it displays:
"Connection interrupted, attempting to reconnect...
Network error"
The weird thing is that the Ethernet port on the raspy still shows activity, but I cannot ping the raspy via cmd.
What I've tried until now:
- replaced SD-Card
- replaced raspy
- replaced network cable
- replaced raspy 5V PSU
Since none of these actions solved my problem, I am hoping to get a solution in this forum. Any help is greatly appreciated! Here's the config.g file. Thanks in advance!
