      @bearer said in Duet3D Ethernet _ Short:

      The what to do guide says to remove the SD card, but you can also try removing the Ethernet module to see if that makes any difference to getting a green light (release the stand offs and pull straight up). Its a long shot, but

      @bearer no that has made no difference, just the 5v led & the usb led are lit. Looks like a replacement to me

      Hope this helps. There's no visible signs of burning anywhere

      As I said - Electronics not my speciality... but thanks for the info. that's helpful
      The Red LEDs are:
      5v / E1 Heat & BED Heat

      The Blue is the VIN

    • Duet3D Ethernet _ Short

      Hi all,
      Electronics are not my speciality, but I think my board may be beyond economic repair!!
      I managed to short circuit the board on my CNC machine today - this happened in mid-carve somehow. Now all I have is 3 red LED lights & 1 blue LED showing on the board. The Fans don't run & the Ethernet port has no LED lights working - I'm assuming that the board is fried & will need replacing, but I would like to check before I buy another one? Thanks in advance for any info.
