The length, width and mounting hole positions are identical across all older Duets and the Duet 2 series. I think the SD card socket and USB socket positions are also the same. The Ethernet connector on the Duet Ethernet is not in the same position as on the Duet 06 or 085.

          Hi,
Beginning to think that I have a Duet 2 not 0.85.. I have 5 fan pins like the 2 docs instead of four like the 0.85.. I tried to login to the old account but no luck with login or changing password.. I purchased on Aug 2, 2017.. Do I have a Duet 2?
          Regards

There should be some silk screened lettering on the board itself that indicates what it is. Do you see anything?

You can also look at the stepper driver chips. If they are large square chips labelled TMC2660, it is a Duet 2. If they are smaller rectangular chips labelled A4982, it is a 085 (if there are 5 of them) or 06 (if there are 4).

The exception is the Duet WiFi first prototype in my bottom drawer, which has A4892 drivers!
