Hi all, I am having some issues setting up a Duet2 Ethernet. I have one that I setup about a year ago and it was a dream to setup, no issue at all. However I bought two new ones from E3D and now I am have a bit of a road block when I try to set them up. I run the the "Getting Connected" page and when I get to the stage where I try the local connection test over usb to connect to the web control I get nothing (trying on Chrome). I created a firmware on the reprap configuration page and can the machine a name. inserted the SD card, connected the LCD display and switched it on from a power supply, then connected an ethernet cable to see was it grabbing an IP address but nothing, just says connecting in the top left and does not display the machine name in the top right. I have reinstalled the duet 2 firmware using bosa and it is still the same issue.

Any help or hints would be greatly appreciated.

    Paddy

Just an update. It turns out that the display that I have has some kind of problem. I tried another panelDue display that I have and the board was working all along. I erased the firmware on the screen and uploaded it again but it is still not functioning correctly.
Thankfully I can carry on with installing this board on my High Z CNC!!

@Paddy-McGowan said in Ethernet Initial Setup issues:

just says connecting in the top left and does not display the machine name in the top right.

double check the settings for baud rate on the display and in your config file
