It started with an inability to run Z homing.

Hello,
I was able to home the X and Y axis, but the hot end would not stop when the end stop was triggered on the Z axis. I tried to update my firmware (after trying many of the suggestions offered in the forum), but I still had the Z homing issue. Then I attempted the three fall back procedures. Now I cannot connect through wifi, Pronterface, or Sam-ba. The board shows as "Bassa program port" under the USB heading of my device manager. Is there a work around to revive my Duet Wifi? -
Sounds like you have accidentally pressed the Erase button. See https://duet3d.com/wiki/Updating_main_firmware#Fallback_procedure_.233.
When you have reloaded the firmware, see the section on Z homing at https://duet3d.com/wiki/Configuring_RepRapFirmware_for_a_Cartesian_printer#Homing_files.

Sam-ba can't connect to at91sam4e8-ek. I've tried to re-install Sam-ba with no success. Please advise.

Is Bossa Program Port still showing in Device Manager?
-
Yes, Bossa Program Port is showing in Device Manager. Connecting through Sam-ba gets "error h_handle returned zero."
-
That's odd. Does Sam-ba do that before or after it identifies the correct port? If after, has it identified the right port (the one that Device Manager shows as Bossa program port)?
-
A few screenshots would be helpful if you could take them, ideally showing Device Manager and Sam-ba.

I preformed a clean install of windows 10 and loaded 18(beta). It worked. I think I had a conflict or corruption that needed to be removed. Now on to the z probe . . .
