Issues with the probe

When i was using the ir probe on my old kossel it would usually crash into the plate if i made changes to the parameters. Would new firmware fix this?

Need more information. What parameters were you changing?

The important parameters for the IR probe are the M558 parameters (in particular P1 to select the probe type), and the G31 P and Z parameters.
