In every piece of software (or 99.9%), the 'X' for closing a file/screen/what-have-you is located on the top right corner on the window. Why oh why would someone decide that the 'standard' way of doing things just isn't good enough any more and place the 'close' icon on the top left ???? (this happens when I edit a file such as config.g)
If there is any justification for that, I surely would like to hear it!

'X' on the right upper corner is standard in Windows. This is not true for e.g. Mac OS X (left top corner). Also most Linux WM can be configured in a way the user want it.

DWC 2 is build around Material Design. This is the reason for the location of the 'X' Button. See https://material.io/components/dialogs/#full-screen-dialog for the specification.

I run Linux and the X is always on the top right corner (as a default ... yes, just about anything can be changed if you want it bad enough)
I was not aware that the Mac had the x on the left top corner.
I still think it's goofy as everybody, except Mac users, expect to see the thing on the top right corner. That's probably 99% of the users ...... (ok, maybe 98%)

Interesting link - thanks for posting that ... and there it is, on the top left!

While I still think it's goofy, at least now I know that there is some reason and some logic behind it all.
