Delta Calibration G32 inconsistent between runs
-
Is it normal to get different values from subsequent runs of G32? for example when I run at first start its not unusual for me to get a range between 3.00 and 0.03 before and after. But running it immediately again my numbers are closer together like 0.04 and 0.03.
I thought that every time this is run the previous data is thrown out, thus it's not calibrated when calibrating. Why would I get vastly different numbers. when run back to back?
I run this before every print and I am chasing down the occasional issue where I get a tilted first layer. Does not happen all the time, but sometimes its way off. My mesh compensation map is usually pretty consistent.

The previous points sampled are thrown out... but... the prior run got Z0 quite close. The next run will refine from that closeness.
I.E. this is normal.
When you get a tilted first layer, can you look back through the console log and see what the "after" was?

Ahah, so does that zero closeness get thrown out on power down?
Is there a command that can be added to bed.g to probe a single center point and set zero close and then probe the remaining pints for tilt ?

Yes. And/or if the motors are powered off.

Yes. It is literally called "single Z probe". BUT... the machine doesn't care how far off it was before, during a multi point probe. There is no reason to chase this.
