Most likely the fan mosfets need to be replaced. There are other threads about how to do this. The part numbers are listed at https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Connector_and_spare_part_numbers.

@dc42 Hi I heard that you do repairs on boards. I currently have a duet 2 wifi that I made a post about and I think i've broken it (more detail in the post). Do you still repair boards? I'd be willing to pay for shipping+parts+some extra before I go and buy a whole new board. Thanks!

Yes I repair boards provided there are not many components on them that need to be replaced. For those outside the UK, the cost of postage both ways adds to the cost considerably.

@dc42 Would it be possible to assign other pwm pins to fan pins e.g. E1 heater?

absolutely, which version of firmware are you running? and is your fan running at the same voltage as your hotend, or will you just use the switched ground and find suitable supply for the fan elsewhere?

                    the latest firmware.

i guess that is kinda ambigious as you could be on the latest RRF2 or the latest RR3 which makes the configuration different.
