My printer sat idle for a little while and now it will not connect to the network. When I connect via USB I get a "no SD card present" message. The SD card works when i connect it directly to the computer however.

Thats unusual, odds are the card didn't change if still accessible in the computer, but the simplest thing to try is backup all the files, format the card and try it again in the Duet after restoring the files.

Use this formatting tool https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter/ and use the "overwrite format" option even though it can take a while.

If still troublesome, see if you can get a clear picture of the solder joints on the sd card socket, but given it worked earlier its less likely to be a solder joint issue imo.

        RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet Version 2.03beta3 dated 2019-03-25b6
        No SD card present
        WiFi is disabled.
RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet is up and running.

Do you have anything connected to SPI0 or CON_SD headers on the board? Probably not relevant.

            1. With an SD card inserted, run M122 and check the bit where it reports "SD card detected" or "SD card not detected".

            2. Post a hi res photo of the connections at the back of the SD card socket. If using a camera phone, I find it best to back the camera off a little to get it in focus, and use digital zoom.
