Duet Wifi, PSU, Mosfet and bed level probe
-
Hi Guys,
I had quite a lot of issues with previous boards and my DuetWifi came today (that is what I call proper packaging, give the packer a raise) and my current configuration is such: GT2560 board that has a 4pin connector (2x V+ and 2x V-) and one of those heatbed Mosfets that is connected to the 3rd set of V+V- on the PSU. Do I have to just connect the two sets of wires from the PSU together and plug them into the VIN on the Duet or should I just use one and leave the other one intact? The mosfet is connected to the heatbed control as normal.
Another thing: I have a proximity level probe (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00542U3M4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and it's wired so that the brown one goes directly to the 12v power and the rest goes to the endstop. Can I wire it the same way or do I need some voltage regulator or something?

As you have separate wires from your PSU to the bed heater mosfet, one pair of wires to the Duet will be adequate.

Thank you for the answer. Excellent, so I can even use the second set of wires for something on the side like LED's or something. Thank you very much.
