I need to replace the z-axis driver with an external driver. For each driver there is 3 unused solder-spots, are they the Enable/Step/Dir signals?

I have a Duetx5 on the Duet Ethernet, so picking out the signals from the connector are not easy, which is why I am looking for an alternative to soldering the flatcable connector.

      Thanks.

You need to connect your external driver to the expansion connector, not to those test pads. See https://duet3d.com/wiki/Using_external_drivers.
