      Howdy Folks,
Does anyone know a part number for an FCI cable mounted pin header that would let me extend the PanelDue V.2 back away from the LCD connection? I used Wurth #61204025821 and it works after a fashion but the 5 pin right angle header is snuggled right up against the socket on the board and this required me to butcher my Wurth header clamp and shroud to get it to fit. It would be really nice if that 5 pin header were to be moved farther down the board in the next iteration

      Best Regards,
      Matt.

I'm doing something similar with mine. Do you mean the black 10 pin SD socket or the 4 pin right angled header?

One thing you could do is to relocate the 4 pin connector to the other side of the board. I am going to do that on mine. Will post pictures when done.

Did you use an ide cable with the existing female 40 pin connector and put the wurth 40pin male connector on the other end?

Here is mine… Don't forget to reverse the wires in the connector if you mounted it the way I did! Alternatively mount the connector facing in the other direction to not have to change the wires on the plug.

Why that's just an awesome solution! Can you hear my hand smack my forehead from there? Yes I used an ide cable with the existing female 40 pin connector and put the wurth 40pin male connector on the other end. And thanks for the heads up on reversing the connector direction so as to not have to swap the wires in the harness.

            Best Regards,
            Matt.

Funny! I kind of thought you might have that reaction.

Have you tested the LCD SD card using the 10pin cable from Panel Due to Duet? I've created a thread here just wondering if the speed I was getting was normal or maybe slower than normal and due to a cabling issue. It's here if you care to test yours and report back.
