Magnetic Filament Monitor - static switch enclosure

Like many others I have the magnetic filament monitor on backorder. I currently use a laser filament monitor with the micro-switch option so my macros can detect filament presence.
I would like to keep the static switch feature with the new magnetic monitor. The enclosure isn't really designed for FDM printing.

The following OMRON switches are very small, easy to find, very little actuation distance and make for a good candidate switch:
