@lormal said in Bl touch don't respond:
The wiring should be ok.
bltouch wiring is notoriously bad.
please connect the bltouch directly without extension cable
the wiring seems ok according to this

What version of BLTouch is it?
Try using IO_4 or IO_5 instead of IO_7.
Ensure your crimps are good and test the bltouch connected directly to the board if possible.
-
Bl touch is V3.1. My cable length is about 2.5m. I have used another cable instead of the 1m cable extention. Can it be a problem?
I can try to use io5. -
You can try switching between these two modes on the BLTouch.
-
I control all the crimps and connession and they are all ok.
I try to change between IO-4 / 5 / 7 and the behaviour is the same.I have test https://www.antclabs.com/logic and the bltocuh don't respond, in particular it doesn't deploy and it retract only when arrives at some level, but this happens also when the Bl touch is turn off.
I have tested the out voltage of IO_4 / 5 / 7 and all the others and I found 4.88V also without nothing attacched. it can be a problem or not?
-
I have connect also the bl touch direct to the board without the length of 2.5m and it is the same.
I have do two connector one for three wire and the others for two wires(black+white), connect to IO_7 and IO_5 , changing the config.g but it is the same.
The bl touch is never moved or become red.
-
does it do self test when you turn it on?
-
No it doesn't do the self test. It doesn't become red or any other things.
-
do you have another printer where you could test it, because it sounds broken like its not getting power.
-
If you supply it with 5v and ground it should at least power on and self test. If it's not even doing that it's likely a problem with the bltouch.
-
I have test the bltouch with 5V and it doesn t move so i think that the bl touch is broke.
