Can I get a DyzeEnd & DyzeXtruder Pro working reliably?
-
Hi,
I have an Ender 5+ with a Dyze Pro hotend/extruder/filament sensor combo, controlled by a SKR 1.4T card running Marlin 2.7.02.
This is my first post here, I came here as I'm tired of BTTs all hardware issues, I'm on my 3rd SKR board.. So now I'm looking for something that will just work.So I have zero experience with Duet3D products and firmware more than some reading I've done here over the last few days.
It's my understanding after talking with the Dyze team that I can get the hotend working, but that they often get errors while heating due to it heating too fast. So I thought I should reach out and ask here if there is anything that can be done to fix that?
More questions will probably follow so bear with me

i have not heard a case of heating to fast (if you exclude people using 12v heaters in 24v systems)
the problem with dyze hotends are their thermistors.
they have 5m resistance at room temperature. that will cause unreliable readings.

Yeah it's not very accurate at room temp, their lookup table starts from 20c - but I'm not really sure that's a real issue as it gets more accurate with higher temperatures?
That's the same in Marlin.
