Fans with RRF3
-
Hi all,
Trying to prepare for the upgrade to RRF3In the config.g on my Cartesian i3 steel Duet wifi 2.05
; Fans M106 P0 S1 I0 F500 H-1 ; Set fan 0 value, PWM signal inversion and frequency. Thermostatic control is turned off (Part cooling fan) M106 P1 S1 I0 F500 H1 T40 ; Set fan 1 value, PWM signal inversion and frequency. Thermostatic control is turned on (Hotend fan thermo controlled) M106 P2 S125 I0 F500 H-1 ; Set fan 2 value, PWM signal inversion and frequency. Thermostatic control is turned off (PCB cooling fan @ 50%)
I have fan2 as the PCB / stepper drivers cooling fan and set to 50% for lower noise . Has being working fine for over 2 years
From what I've read i need the following in my RRF3 config file to achieve the same
; Fans M950 F0 C"fan0" Q500 ; create fan 0 on pin fan0 and set its frequency M106 P0 S0 H-1 ; set fan 0 value. Thermostatic control is turned off M950 F1 C"fan1" Q500 ; create fan 1 on pin fan1 and set its frequency M106 P1 S1 H1 T40 ; set fan 1 value. Thermostatic control is turned on M950 F2 C"fan2" Q500 ; create fan 2 on pin fan2 and set its frequency M106 P2 S125 H-1 ; set fan 2 value to 50%. Thermostatic control is turned off
Does that look right to you guys ??
Thanks in advance -
Looks ok.
You could also use S0.5 for 50%
