Sample code for variable workaround

Anyone have some sample code to show how to implement a workaround for not have conditional variables? I created a dummy tool and tried to use its offsets as holding places but I could not get it to work.

If you would like to be able to see the current value of a text variable on the DWC you can use the name of a dummy fan.

What I was hoping for is the ability to perform some simple arithmetic based on a set of readings. Maybe this just isn't possible yet.

@DaveA I already do something similar. You can use the workplace coordinates to same information and then calculate from.
