Bltouch v3.1 with duet wifi board 1.03

Re: DuetWifi 1.0.1 and BL Touch Smart 3.0 - how to force 3.3V logic?
Hi guys.
After reading almost every post on the internet, I am even more confused.
I have a duet wifi v1.03 board. Recently I've bought a bltouch v1.3 from antclabs.
Will the new bltouch work without doing any additional modifications like adding resistors etc ?-Some people claim that the new bltouch v1.3 is a plug in and play even on older duet boards.
-Others claim you will have to add resistors or do some magic to get the correct voltages.When it comes to Logic Voltage Free(Open Drain Output) I'm completely lost in the water.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.

As a fellow dyslexic i think you mean v3.1 for the BL Touch
The newer BL touch runs fine being fed 3.3v or 5v
I have also created a Guide which might help BL Touch guided install on Duet 2 Hardware.pdf

@CaLviNx yup, typo, its v3.1.
But what about the signal voltage fed to thr duet.The bltouch receives 5v from from pin 1 and 2, but the duet board version 1.03 signal can only handle 3.3v?

A whole lot of overthinking is going on.
TL:DR version: it will be FINE. (well at least on the testing i have done on older Duet-2 boards)

@dwayne Supply the bltouch with 3.3v. It works fine on my Duet 2 v1.0 running on 3.3v.
