I am getting a little fusterated My duet mini 5+ keeps deleting the config.g file. I have fought to get the system running and before I get a chance to finish setting it up and backing it up it deletes the file. It also fails to connect to the wifi.

        Hi,

I have two Duet 3 Mini 5 running v3.2 firmware.

I have had no such problems.

If you can post your config.g file here using the </> tags.

        A few questions:

        • has it ever worked
        • is the WiFi antenna attached
        • how far away is the nearest router/access point

        Thanks.

        Frederick

Printers: a small Utilmaker style, a small CoreXY and a E3D MS/TC setup. Various hotends. Using Duet 3 hardware running 3.4.6

Can you try setting up a fresh SD card?

          How are you editing it?

          A few more details please?

Results of M122 would be a start.

Using sd card that came with unit it doesn't matter if I edit it in web-server my preferred way or in notepad+ on my pc. Mini will delete at random. Tried my own sdcard and issues still occur. Upon reboot Panel Due will stick with connecting and pc will not connect via wifi. Upon shutting down power and viewing sdcard on pc config.g file will just be missing.

Wifi works randomly but when connects stays connected. issue occurs when reseting power or on stop button or system reset after config update. Antenna is attached and mounted to mounting plate behind duet 3 mini. the nearest wifi connection is in the next room via 1 wall and 2 meters away.

RepRapFirmware for Duet 3 Mini 5+ version 3.2-beta3.2+1 running on Duet 3 Mini5plus WiFi (standalone mode)

Let's start with getting your firmware up to date.

Please start by downloading this zip file.
Connect to DWC and go to the system tab and upload the zip file as is.

That should get you on firmware and DWC 3.2. Check after a reboot with M115.

let me know how that goes.
