Hello, what am I doing wrong? I have some pick and place machine. I am using Duet3 and position X and Y axis are not repeatable.
When machine is homed by mechanical endstops and camera's visual home mark, after 30 moves around working area, machine is returned to optical mark with offset, but coordinates are the same.
There are two pictures - before and after moving.
      First homing
      After return to mark positions

I tried motor current, less microsteps - 8 but error is still there. I tried two Duet3 boards, I changed firmware on one Duet, but .....

      Regards
      Ondrej

      (sorry for my English)

        Hi,

You can tweak the scaling of the axes using:

M579 X1.0 Y1.0 Z1.0 ; scaling (values are determined by measuring test object)

You would adjust the 1.0 values above as needed to get each axis correct.

Perhaps that would solve your problem.

          SOLVED

          Mea culpa, mea maxima culpa!

I found some settings or electrical issue, because mechanics are good ... but silver screws on silver puley .... one missing, one was on half way.

After repair, it seemed good, but a few minutes are enought for issue returning. I have to lock screws by some glue.

Glad to hear you got it working.

Loctite makes a line of products for securing things like that.

@fcwilt Yes, I have a Loctite glue for screws 🙂 I am surprised, because my 6 years old 3d printer has puleys with screew very tightened. And new puley had loose screws after 6 minutes of operation.

              Thank you for your help.
