      So i have made a custom machine using and old laser cutter with a bad laser emitter. I have wired everything right its a 24v system. The motors works the machine homes as it is suppose to. The heater also works when it is assigned as a bed heater but it is actually a wired to heater E0 pin.
      The screenshot is from the current config the heater section of the config looks like

      ; Heaters
      M305 P1 T10000 B4100 R4700 ; set thermistor + ADC parameters for heater 1
      M143 H1 S280 ; set temperature limit for heater 1 to 280C

      My Printer - Google Chrome 2_18_2021 7_07_34 AM.png

      Heaters;
      M140 H1 ; remap heated bed to heater 1
      M307 H1 B0 S1.00 ; disable bang-bang mode for the bed heater and set PWM limit
      M305 P1 T100000 B4138 R4700 ; set thermistor + ADC parameters for heater 1
      M143 H1 S280 ; set temperature limit for heater 1 to 280C

      My Printer - Google Chrome 2_18_2021 7_18_25 AM.png

      The second picture represents the exact same wiring but it reads the right temperature and the heater seems to work and heat as well. I want to know what would be the right config codes for making tool 0 show up correctly.
      Thanks for your help.

          What does the heater heat?

          Please post your config.g file using the </> tag.

          Thanks.

              Hi,

              In your M563 command you don't have the H parameter which associates the specified heater to the tool.

              Still not really sure what question(s) you are asking.
